I saw the quote above and thought it sums up life lately….smile. January started off well. We sat and made our goals for 2023. I enjoy this family tradition. We look at last years goals and make new ones. Then we share them over Indian food.
Everyone started school the second week in January. Sims headed back to Charleston. Sawyer started new classes at the community college (Intro to Sociology, Public Speaking and Spanish 2). Parks started back to classes (although he really only took one week off.). Parks is taking a class at Open Tent Academy, Geometry, World Geography, and World History. He and Sawyer are continuing with the rock climbing team. Sawyer qualified to go to Divisionals in bouldering. Parks is also snowboarding a lot this year and participating in the snowboard club.
Sawyer and I went to Charleston, so that she could visit College of Charleston. She went to class with Sims and his girlfriend. While we were in the town, we also helped Sims with some college stuff. His apartment has mold, thus, we are trying to find out more about the situation and find him temporary housing.
January flew by like most of the months lately. On to February!!!
