Another Year Older-Sawyer Turns 18!

I am not even sure how to describe Sawyer’s past year. After her 17th birthday, Sawyer knew that she wanted a change or an adventure. Covid hit during her freshman year and continued through her sophomore and junior years. Life for a teen around our area was a bit of a bummer. Thus, she started looking for new adventures. In December of 2021, she found a semester school to apply to and attend. Thus, she started her year off in a full blown adventure. She left home, lived with 26 other teens, and grew up a ton.

Since she has been home, Sawyer has been climbing at the climbing gym, hanging with her family, and traveling to visit her friends from school. She has driven on several road trips. She has flown in a small plane and flown on her own to visit friends. Concerts were also a big activity for the year.
